Who we are and what we do

Community Health Partnerships (CHP) is a private limited company, wholly owned by the Department of Health and Social Care.

CHP was established in 2001 and until 2007 was known as Partnerships for Health.

What we spend and how we spend it
 

CHP invests in Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) companies in connection with the development and maintenance of primary care infrastructure across England. This investment is made up of a combination of equity and debt.

Our priorities

CHP produces an annual Business Plan which is presented to the Board for approval at or around March/April each year. CHP regularly monitors progress against the Business Plan. Details are available on request.

How we make decisions

CHP is governed by a Board of Directors which meets regularly.

Each of these meetings is formally minuted. Subject to the deletion of matters falling within the exemptions contained in the Act (see above) these minutes are available on request.

All classes of information which are stated above to be available at Freedom of Information can be provided in documentary (paper) form upon request.

Fees

All classes of information which are stated above will be made available upon receipt of a fee. This fee is necessary to cover the cost of locating, printing and posting the information to the applicant. Each request will be assessed individually and based on the following costs:

  • Printing 5p per sheet
  • Photocopying 10p per sheet
  • Postage will be charged at Royal Mail standard rate.
