Case study: Finchley Memorial Hospital

The award-winning £30m Finchley Memorial Hospital (FMH) opened in 2012, with a total gross floor area of 9,581m2.

FMH has transformed local health provision meeting the future healthcare needs of the community. It provides high quality services in a modern, adaptable facility  closer to home for patients and reducing reliance on acute hospitals.  

Finchley Memorial Hospital Community Diagnostic Centre 

The Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Finchley Memorial Hospital has now helped more than 60,000 NHS patients across Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington to get quicker and more local access to diagnostic scans and tests since opening in 2021.

A fixed MRI scanner was winched into the hospital in July and opened to patients in August 2022.
