West Hull Health Hub reached a major milestone ‘topping out the building’ marking the halfway point for the construction with completion due in Nov 2021. Darnall Primary Care Centre (PCC) in Sheffield is home to the Darnall Hall Surgery after an internal variation costing £170k was completed. This partnership work was led by CHP to improve the use of the building after a request from Sheffield CCG. A wooden bench commemorating Captain Sir Tom has been donated to the walk in centre staff at Litherland Town Hall Health Centre in Liverpool. The bench is to thank the local NHS team for their tireless efforts supporting the local population over the last year. The team received money from Captain Tom’s Fund, decided a bench would be perfect, with CHP covering the cost of installation.
Community Health Partnerships donated 31 laptops, previously used by CHP staff, to be distributed to primary schools across Greater Manchester. The first five laptops were part of a 10 laptop donation to Webster Primary School in Moss Side, Manchester with others donated to Tameside Food Bank.

The work costing £170k began on 1 March and will be complete in late April 2021.
CHP have worked with Sheffield arts charity, Ignite Imaginations, to place two community art installations ‘Cognitive’ and ‘Nexus and Connections’ in primary care buildings as part of their ‘Art at the Heart’ project. Artists worked with local communities to translate their thoughts, feelings and experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic into four striking art installations displayed across the city from December 2020.

CHP has supported the setting up of a major Covid vaccination site in Manchester.
The site, in the Vallance Centre in Brunswick near to Manchester city centre, administered 1063 vaccines between 11-15 Jan 2021. Often they are administering more than 500 in one day. The site has ‘thank you boards’ with many positive comments and good wishes for the vaccine centre teams.
