Staff and patients at Portway Lifestyle Centre, in Oldbury, West Midlands have celebrated the milestone of giving 20,000 first doses of the Covid-19 vaccination. The building, which was set up as a coronavirus vaccination centre in December, is run by Sandwell Leisure Trust. It was selected as it was a suitable large venue, with strong links to local GP practices and Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust.
The Mayor of Bromley, embarked on a tour of GP-led vaccination centres across the Borough. Cllr Gray visited and volunteered at Beckenham Beacon on Wed 24 February 2021.
