CHP celebrates double win at Government Property Awards 2025

Community Health Partnerships (CHP) were delighted to receive two awards at this year’s Government Property Awards 2025, which took place on Wednesday 17 September in Central London.

The annual award ceremony brought together colleagues from across central government departments and their associated organisations and recognised individuals and teams from across the industry with a range of award categories.

CHP received four shortlisted nominations this year, including for the Health and Safety Award, Keystone Award, Impact and Innovation and Capability Champion.

CHP’s Learning and Development Advisor, Sherrie Taylor was awarded the ‘Capability Champion’ whilst CHP’s Business Intelligence Team received ‘Highly Commended’ in the Impact and Innovation category.

Sherrie was nominated for her work in developing, improving and implementing CHP’s Thrive learning programme. Sherrie’s dedication and commitment to the programme has empowered CHP colleagues to take ownership of their professional growth through targeted learning, leadership development, and inclusive access. Sherrie has created an environment where skills are grown purposefully, and with impact.

Following the delivery of the Thrive and Rising Star programmes, 25% of colleagues have now pursued training opportunities including professional qualifications and specialist learning projects such as project management.

Her work has directly contributed to individuals attaining new roles, pursuing sector-recognised certifications, and building expertise that aligns with the ever-evolving NHS estate.  Sherrie also received an honourable mention for CHP’s annual CEO award in 2023 for her dedication and contributions.

The Business Intelligence team were Highly Commended in the Impact and Innovation category. Their work to utilise technology to bring solutions to both CHP, and CHP’s tenants, delivering consistently high-quality work under intense time pressure across different business areas were fully recognised. The team’s work has been exemplary, and has had an unanimously positive impact on CHP, from time and cost savings to enhanced data security and accessibility.

The creation of innovative apps for requests such as occupancy change, tenant variations, recruitment, credit notes and contract variations have had a huge impact on streamlining processes, and has enhanced customer service, allowing teams to focus on what really matters to our tenants.

CHP are incredibly proud of all our nominees, and our award winners.

Being shortlisted for the Government Property Awards Impact and Innovation category was an achievement, but we were absolutely delighted to receive a Highly Commended on the day. We're grateful for the recognition and proud of the work developed through the Digital Transformation programme. Huge congratulations to the team for this achievement.

I’m beyond thrilled and proud that Sherrie has been recognised as Capability Champion at the Government Property Awards. She’s not only the epitome of ‘capability champion’ but she’s also an empathetic people champion. Her influence has been cultural, strategic, and practical and colleagues are not only more skilled but more confident, engaged, and connected to their purpose within CHP
