Community Health Partnerships (CHP) has invested £3.2 million in St Peter’s Health Centre, Burnley, strengthening its role as a key neighbourhood health hub and ensuring it continues to meet the changing needs of local communities for years to come.
Working alongside partners including One Partnership, NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board, East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust and the Eric Wright Group, the investment has transformed facilities within the centre and created a new mental health suite.
These improvements go even further to support the development of neighbourhood health by bringing services together in one place and delivering more care closer to home, making it easier for local people to access the support they need.
Yesterday (16th September), partners gathered at St Peter’s Health Centre to mark the completion of CHP’s investment programme and also celebrate 20 years of the health centre supporting the health and wellbeing of local communities.
"This investment demonstrates our commitment to secure the future of St Peter's Health Centre and the communities it serves. As we celebrate 20 years of St Peter's Health Centre, this investment reflects how community health facilities can continue to evolve, bringing more services together and delivering more care closer to home."
