This past year saw a significant increase in community-based events with an incredible 70k events taking place across our estate, a 55% increase on the amount seen in the previous year, demonstrating the vibrant community engagement within our buildings as we work to help build stronger, more resilient communities.

The Social Value generated by these community initiatives rose from £2.9m to an incredible £4.2m. The CHP team are immensely proud of the impact this has had in local communitities.

Aligned to the government’s mission and left shift agenda, CHP’s social value and corporate social responsibility actions are aimed at delivering prevention in the community, addressing the wider determinants of health in areas of high health need.

We are delighted to share our Social Value annual report, detailing how our activities and initiatives across CHP and with our external partners has delivered £59.4million of social value during 2024/25. The positive impacts are far reaching; through addressing health in equalities, bolstering economic growth, improving health and well being outcomes to our communities and reducing our impact on the environment – putting our buildings at the heart of the communities we serve.
