CHP wins Public Sector Promoter/Procurer of the Year at the Partnerships Awards 2026

Community Health Partnerships (CHP) is proud to have been named Public Sector Promoter/Procurer of the Year at this year’s Partnerships Awards 2026.

The prestigious annual awards ceremony brings together public and private sector partners in recognising outstanding projects, organisations and individuals delivering innovation, collaboration and high‑quality outcomes across the infrastructure and partnership sector from all across the world.

The award win is a testament to the transformative year CHP has had in promoting and delivering PPP enabled health infrastructure improvements across the country.

In 2025, CHP expanded capability in delivering NHS LIFT estate variations through the creation of a 10‑strong national Developments Team, now operating as a centre of excellence and acting as the informed client for the NHS. This strengthened capability drove record levels of delivery, with over 30 live projects at any one time.

During the year, 21 projects reached financial close and 19 achieved practical completion, while the capital programme more than doubled, growing from approximately £7m in 2023 to £17m in 2025. The judges highlighted this growth as clear evidence of renewed confidence in the LIFT model as a flexible, high‑performing PPP model.

Best Healthcare Project

The reconfiguration project at St Peter’s Health Centre in the North West also picked up the Best Healthcare Project, recognising the collaboration between both private and public sector partners in delivering outstanding healthcare facilities.

The £3.2 million investment, funded by CHP and delivered with the Eric Wright Group and Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board, will transform upper‑floor space to create an integrated hub for community health and wellbeing services.

The development will significantly increase capacity for a range of health care services, while improving the building’s usability for staff and patients. The project will play a critical role in supporting neighbourhood health provision and reducing demand on the local acute hospital.

We are incredibly proud of these achievements and serves as a true reflection of the strength of CHP’s collaborative approach and our continued focus on delivering well‑designed, community‑based healthcare infrastructure. Together, they demonstrate how targeted investment and partnership working can expand capacity, modernise facilities and support national priorities delivering neighbourhood health and bringing care closer to home.

These awards recognise the real and lasting impact our investment is already having for communities across England. By working closely with our partners, we are transforming underused space into modern, integrated environments that support preventative, community focused care, and ease pressure on acute hospitals, strengthening local health outcomes
