Community Health Partnerships sets out 2025/26 priorities in annual business plan

Our 2025/26 Integrated Business Plan (IBP) outlines our priorities for the next 12 months. Our plan sets out our objectives, key deliverables and the KPIs against which we will measure performance and achievement across our five strategic aims.

The change in government last year resulted in a new health mission; to Build an NHS Fit for the Future and three shifts for the NHS: hospital to community, analogue to digital, and treatment to prevention.  The 10 Year Health Plan is expected to be published in June, and as part of this physical infrastructure will feature as a key enabler to delivering neighbourhood health services.

We will focus our efforts this year to support the health mission and enable the NHS deliver neighbourhood health services.  Enabling more care in the community – the left shift – speaks to the purpose of LIFT.  We have well-maintained healthcare buildings which can support more services in local communities.  By applying our strategic estates expertise and working in partnership we will continue to support the NHS deliver its ambitions to reform and transform care.

Last year many of our NHS partners confirmed the LIFT assets as core to their ICS infrastructure strategies.  We will continue to work in partnership, applying our Productivity Acceleration in the Community Estate (PACE) programme approach to develop plans to support increased productivity, through greater utilisation and optimisation of the buildings.

We also increased our capital programme last year and this continues in 2025-26.  Working through our regional teams we will engage with local systems to develop a strategic capital pipeline, identifying and gaining commitment to opportunities to repurpose and adapt spaces in the LIFT buildings to support neighbourhood health services.

As head tenant we will continue to focus on getting the basics right, ensuring roles, responsibilities and obligations are understood and delivered to ensure the provision of sustainable facilities.
