Mayor volunteers and thanks team at Beckenham Beacon Vaccination Site
The Mayor of Bromley, embarked on a tour of GP-led vaccination centres across the Borough. Cllr Gray visited and volunteered at Beckenham Beacon on Wed 24 February 2021. Certificates of thanks were presented to staff representatives at the Beckenham Beacon vaccination site including CHP staff. Her visit was programmed to avoid interrupting the vital work of both staff and volunteers. Cllr Gray was given a tour of the GP surgery and vaccination areas.

Art at the Heart project reflects community Covid experiences in Sheffield
CHP have worked with Sheffield arts charity, Ignite Imaginations, to place two community art installations ‘Cognitive’ and ‘Nexus and Connections’ in primary care buildings as part of their ‘Art at the Heart’ project. Artists worked with local communities to translate their thoughts, feelings and experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic into four striking art installations displayed across the city from December 2020.
CHP supports more than 90 vaccination sites nationwide
CHP is actively helping the NHS by support the setting up of Covid vaccination centres across the country. We have worked to set up more than 90 live sites so far (15 Feb), with many more in the pipeline as the vaccine is further rolled out.
Thanks pour in for the Vallance vaccination centre in Manchester
CHP has supported the setting up of a major Covid vaccination site in Manchester.
The site, in the Vallance Centre in Brunswick near to Manchester city centre, administered 1063 vaccines between 11-15 Jan 2021. Often they are administering more than 500 in one day. The site has ‘thank you boards’ with many positive comments and good wishes for the vaccine centre teams.
