Community Health Partnerships is delighted to announce that Finchley Memorial Hospital Community Diagnostic Centre has been shortlisted for Estates Optimisation Project at the HSJ Partnership Awards 2023, recognising their outstanding dedication to improving healthcare and effective collaboration with the NHS.
The Finchley Memorial Hospital Community Diagnostic Centre has been delivered in partnership by North London Estate Partnerships (LIFTCo), North Central London ICS (NCL Health and Care), gbpartnerships and Community Health Partnerships.
A key advantage of the public private partnership that delivered the CDC was its ability to deliver significant additional diagnostic capacity in an accessible location and at pace. The CDC, hosted by Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, is supporting acute trusts across north central London with their elective recovery and is providing additional testing capacity, earlier diagnosis, greater convenience to patients and supporting the drive to reducing health inequalities.
The national healthcare sector faced innumerable pressures were over the past 12 months – yet the standard and overriding positivity of the partnerships this year highlight the enduring dedication to improving patient outcomes.
