Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Community Health Partnerships has been doing everything possible to support the fight against the virus. CHP and LIFTCos’ estate has helped to facilitate more than 100 vaccination centres across England, with GP practices working collaboratively with CHP, Integral, the LIFTCo and various NHS organisations to help vaccinate as many people as possible.
Steve Drumm, from Prime LiftCo, said: “As one of the main landlords for the NHS in the Birmingham region, our key focus is ensuring that our facilities provide maximum benefit to our tenants and their patients. At this challenging time, we will do whatever we can to support the drive to provide vaccination in the heart of the community, across the estate.”
The Birmingham and Solihull Vaccination Programme has been analysing data and mobilising pop-up vaccination sites in areas across the city, to make the vaccination as accessible as possible, in the communities that are most at risk of Covid-19. This is also something that both LIFTCo and CHP have and will continue to support for as long as it is needed.
Most recently, the Birmingham and Solihull Vaccination Programme has run two separate successful vaccination sessions from Finch Road Primary Care Centre in the heart of Lozells, Birmingham.
“The pop-up vaccination project at Finch Road has been extremely well run by the Birmingham and Solihull Vaccination Programme, helping people in areas that are highly affected by the virus to gain easy access to the vaccine. It is fantastic to facilitate programmes which make a real difference to the communities we serve,” added Steve Drumm.

In April CHP and NHSPS jointly won the national One Team Award in the Government Property Awards 2021. During the pandemic, the two NHS property companies, owned by DHSC, worked together with NHSE&I, partners and suppliers to form a strong estates response.
