Richard Williams has joined the Board of Community Health Partnerships (CHP) as a Non-Executive Director. His appointment was confirmed at a Board meeting this week.
Catherine Mason, Chair of CHP said: “I am delighted to announce Richard’s appointment as a new Non-Executive Director. He brings a wealth of experience in real estate and finance from across the public and private sectors. His skills perfectly suit CHP, our purpose, and the services we provide to the NHS. Richard joins at an exciting time, as we seek to transform CHP to meet the infrastructure needs of our health and care partners and the significant challenges they face, not least as they recover from the Covid pandemic. I look forward to working with him.”
Mr Williams fills a vacant Non Executive Director role and his appointment is for 3 years.
Richard said: “I am very pleased to join CHP at this formative time. It is an extraordinary organisation that provides a unique offer to the NHS. I look forward to sharing my insight from different sectors and companies to help steer them through the changing customer landscape. I hope to provide a new perspective to their challenges and help guide them in future opportunities.”
Richard has over 30 years of real estate and finance experience, having held a number of executive and non-executive roles for organisations in retail, housing, healthcare and retirement living with companies such as Aldi, McCarthy Stone, Octopus Healthcare and St Andrews Healthcare spanning both the public and private sectors. This has included executive roles in operations, property development, real estate management and finance.
He is currently CEO of Brigid Investments, an asset owning business specialising in retirement rental property and also sits on the Boards of BexleyCo and Cognatum Property. Previously he sat on the Board of one of the largest Housing Associations in the South of the Country (Radian).
