Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Health Secretary Sajid Javid and Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak visited the new QEII Hospital at Welwyn Garden City last week, a CHP PPP building that supports greater care in the community. Good to see that reducing the elective backlog and initiatives such as more diagnostic services in the community is a priority at the top level.
We are working closely with NHS colleagues and partners across the country to deliver community-based solutions, such as Community Diagnostic Centres, to improve access to early diagnosis and support better population health outcomes.
