The Tessa Jowell Health Centre in Dulwich, London celebrates its first anniversary on 26 May, with new figures highlighting the important role the building is already playing to support local residents and the NHS at such a critical time. The health centre opened at the height of the first lockdown and has been vital to the local NHS response to COVID-19, treating patients closer to home so hospitals could focus on critical care.

Staff and patients at Portway Lifestyle Centre, in Oldbury, West Midlands have celebrated the milestone of giving 20,000 first doses of the Covid-19 vaccination. The building, which was set up as a coronavirus vaccination centre in December, is run by Sandwell Leisure Trust. It was selected as it was a suitable large venue, with strong links to local GP practices and Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust.
The Mayor of Bromley, embarked on a tour of GP-led vaccination centres across the Borough. Cllr Gray visited and volunteered at Beckenham Beacon on Wed 24 February 2021. Certificates of thanks were presented to staff representatives at the Beckenham Beacon vaccination site including CHP staff. Her visit was programmed to avoid interrupting the vital work of both staff and volunteers. Cllr Gray was given a tour of the GP surgery and vaccination areas.
