Tenant Access Portal (TAP) booking process change – confirming and cancelling bookings

Important System Update for tenants and other users of CHP’s TAP room booking platform.

There will be a change in how bookings are managed by system users.  There is a new process required when TAP users confirm or cancel bookings via the email links received after making a provisional booking.

The change went live in the TAP system on Monday 12 June 2023.  

While this is a minor additional step in the process, the change is important to increase system functionality and mitigate accidental confirmations, ultimately increasing system security and the accuracy of bookings.  A process review was undertaken following system feedback in April 2023. 

ORMs will be distributing this information to TAP users directly and a reminder will also be in the June 2023 tenant newsletter (tenant newsletter archive).

CHP’s Tenant Access Portal (TAP) is an online self-service room booking portal which allows users to make and manage bookings made for sessional room usage across approximately 200 of CHP’s buildings.

To register for a TAP account to start using our sessional space, please contact the building’s Operations & Relationship Manager (ORM) in the first instance.  If you don’t know who the ORM is please contact

The hub covers information for CHP tenants on health and safety, sustainability, facilities management including HardFM, and SoftFM, leases, charges and billing. In addition there is information on bookable rooms and filming at our premises.
